Hence, current study evaluated lipid/lipoprotein disorders inherent COVID-19 its Methods: This was retrospective conducted 600 patients RT-PCR-confirmed at Eleme treatment facility Port Harcourt, Southern Nigeria. Data were obtained from medical records using validated acquisition templates analyzed based on abnormalities status. Results: Among those studied, 54.7% had while others normolipidemic. HDL-C most common preponderance hypoalphalipoproteinemia (84.4%). Dyslipidemia afflicted mostly middle-aged, males, urban dwellers, overweight, classic COVID-19-induced respiratory symptoms. Dyslipidemic cohorts higher pro-calcitonin, C-reactive protein, D-dimer, total white cell count, neutrophils, but lower albumin, lymphocyte, platelet counts compared to normolipidemic cohorts. concurrent severe levels TChol, Tg, HDL-C, LDL-C less-severe disease. only parameter that associated crude (OR:8.65; CI:5.96-11.44; p<0.001) adjusted (OR:8.11; CI:5.65-10.87; regression models other indices. At 96.77% sensitivity 89.20% specificity, robust predictive potentials (AUC:0.97; CI:0.84-1.00; over severity. Conclusion: is frequent presenting association severity, especially dyslipidemic these findings should be factored during Nigerians
